We are having a house concert on May 26th, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. The Leandro Pellegrino Trio will perform (leandropellegrino.com) with Leandro on guitar, Roberto Giaquinto on drums (robertogiaquinto.com) and Tim Norton on bass (timothynortonmusic.com). This fantastically talented professional Jazz ensemble will be coming to our living roomin New Britain straight from New York City. We will serve yummy appetizers, beer, and wine at this edgy, intimate event. The suggested donation is $30, and children up to 17 years old are free.
This concert will benefit the National Immigration Law Center (nilc.org). NILC supports the rights of immigrants by providing legal advocacy, supporting legislative immigration reform, guiding DACA recipients, and promoting the concept that Everyone Has Basic Rights, No Matter Who Is President. We have students, friends, neighbors, and colleagues who are living in a state of fear and anxiety under this administration's punitive immigration policies.
