Our spacious and eclectic Tudor in the West End of New Britain is the perfect setting for the edgy and energetic show, "Sax & Taps" (http://saxandtaps.com/) featuring Erica von Kleist and DeWitt Fleming. The duo will play two 40 minute sets of music for our intimate audience, starting at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 11, 2018 (daylight savings begins this day, so please remember to spring forward one hour!) We will have yummy snacks, wine, and beer included in the $40 ticket. This concert will benefit our neighbor, Mariano Cardoso, who was threatened with deportation right before Christmas - he now has a temporary stay and is anxiously waiting for his green card. Mariano has three children, his eldest is here under DACA and his two younger children are U.S. citizens. Mariano is a business owner, taxpayer, and he supports his parents as well. His legal fees are enormous, and we want to show support to him and his family as they chafe under this administration's increasingly restrictive and punitive immigration policy.
